Chapters 30-35 Summary
Laura asks Rob to write down his top five jobs. His only practical one is architecture, a trade that he claims makes a surprising entry at number five. Apparently at school, he was good at technical drawing. Unfortunately, he is not prepared to do the seven years of training, but the thought of doing something else is becoming increasingly appealing.
Rob decides to recreate his Groucho Club night at the Dog and Peasant. He puts what he calls a fly poster in the window of his shop, claiming it as the only creative idea he has ever had in his life. Later on, Barry shocks him by stating Laura has allowed Barry's band to play in the interval. Rob tells him he will give him 110% of the profits if he does not play. He says it will be embarrassing for everything...
