Summary
The title page of Chapter 6 includes a paper called “The Napoleon” with the author’s photograph on it as a high school student (178). On top of it is “The Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards” of 1994 with Jarrett’s name on it as well as a videotape labeled “Dude’s World” (178). The chapter begins with some panels of boys running around, filming, and getting into trouble. They pretend to be Wayne’s World from Saturday Night Live but call it “Dude’s World” and film it together (181). The next page shows them playing in a pool, then playing with fire. They spend the summer goofing around and then on page 184, Stacey (Jarrett’s girlfriend) brings over a bag of stuff and breaks up with Jarrett.
