Summary

Chapter 9

In Chapter 9, the girls prepare for the induction ritual and ask Sophie about her first magic spell. Since each of the girls had done something dramatic for their first spell, they are disappointed when she says she accidentally turned her hair purple. They are even more disappointed when they learn of her love spell because the spells that got each of them sentenced to Hecate were destructive and hurtful. Sophie says she does not want to join them. Although they are not happy with her, they insist that they need a fourth dark witch for a mysterious plan that they do not share with Sophie. They tell her that she will find it hard to survive at Hecate between her dad and rooming with a vampire, but they refuse to explain what they mean about her dad. On the way back to...
