Chapter 5

In Chapter 5, Sophie expresses disbelief that Jenna could have killed anyone, but the three girls tell her that Holly was found dead with two holes pierced in her neck and the blood drained from her body. The Council let her stay at school because they determined that the holes could not have been made by fangs, but the girls insist that the Council was wrong. They try to convince Sophie to join their coven by demonstrating their powers but she asks for time to think about it and they leave. Later, Jenna finds Sophie and apologies for butting into her family business, but Sophie says they are OK. Jenna realizes the witches have told her about Holly and says Holly told her they were trying to get more power. Sophie brushes it off and they head for dinner, but Sophie is a...
