Summary
In Chapter 37, although Verdene is happy that Margot has come back to her and that Margot intends to include Verdene in her dreams, Verdene is unsure about the sale of her house. Not only has Margot convinced her not to get a lawyer, the contract also calls for Verdene to take less for her house that her parents paid as a down payment. While looking through the papers, Verdene has found more and more flaws in the contract. She decides to call her lawyer despite Margot’s advice not to do so.
