Summary
In Chapter 14, Margot meets Sweetness at Rupert’s Box Lunch and Variety Restaurant. She asks Sweetness to perform a job for her, to seduce a woman, before she agrees to hire her. At first, Sweetness refuses the job. Margot tries to help the girl overcome her doubts. When Margot has had enough, she gets up as if to walk away. The girl stands up and agrees to do as Margot wants. They make plans to meet that night. Before Margot leaves, Sweetness tells her that even though she is agreeing to do the job, she is not homosexual.
