Maine from "Inventory"
While "Inventory," takes place throughout several states and, literally, features a cross-country escape-narrative, the final location and the most defined area that is introduced in the story is the abode that the narrator stays in in Maine. This home is located close to a beach, and the narrator appears to be squatting in the location (as it can be assumed that, due to the epidemic that the narrator is fleeing from, the owners have either already left or are dead). There are large rocks along the landscape, and an island not far off the coast from the house. This story appears to be set in-time in the early-2000s.
