Summary

In the months after Cara died, Christa had been unfaithful to Jedediah. Christa, Jedediah and her mother took a vacation to Hawaii, a place that Cara always wanted to go. Among the items Christa packed for the trip was a Ouija board, wrapped in Cara’s favorite scarf. Christa had been wearing the scarf with every outfit she wore. Cara had always believed that clothing or personal items was a direct link to the dead. Christa attempted to contact Cara in Hawaii using the Ouija board. She talked to Cara about Jedediah and her future. She felt Cara wanted her to ruin her life like she did.
