The prospect of spending most of the rest of his life in jail terrified Sonny. When he was assigned to the maximum security Folsom Prison matters just seemed worse since prisoners were rarely paroled out early from that facility. During his first few weeks in prison, tax evasion charges were added to the charges. Sonny was in a dangerous situation.
