Hell's Angels are very protective of their women. Women had always baffled Sonny since his mother abandoned him as a baby. She wrote letters to him and tried to regain contact with him, but he rejected her attempts. During the early days of the club, Tommy Thomas was the only married member and Sonny always had a steady girlfriend. The other guys usually wound up with the town sluts.
