Chapter 28 Summary

Hanna goes to Iris's secret room to find her. Iris wasn't in the TV room watching the movie with the other girls. Hanna is determined to find out how Iris knows Alison. When Hanna runs into one of the nurses, she asks if she knows where Iris is. As the nurse is directing Hanna back to her room, Iris comes up behind them. When Hanna starts questioning Iris about who she is and how she knows Alison, Iris parrots Ali's mantra, which is "I'm Iris and I'm fabulous."

As Hanna lunges at Iris, some staff grab her and drag her down a long corridor. At the end of the corridor is the Rosewood police chief. Hanna thanks him for coming and says she can take him to Ali's killer. He laughs and cuffs her as he tells her she is under arrest.
