Chapters 16 Summary

Hanna is finding that she has a lot in common with her roommate Iris. They've been spending time at the spa, having lattes and stealing spa products to give each other facials in their room. Iris says she's there for an eating disorder and Hanna lies and says that she's there for too. Hanna even takes up making fun of Tara with Iris, even though Tara was the first one to talk to her at the place. Iris sneaks Hanna into a secret room that she knows the combination to where Iris stashes magazines and other contraband they're not supposed to have. She notices Iris drew the same wishing well on the wall that Ali has on her time capsule flag. Iris admits she saw it in her bag.
