Black Dog: Chapter 10

Jude sees Georgia standing in the studio doorway shivering and looking very pale, and she says “Get rid of it” again. Jude asks what she wants him to get rid of and Georgia says the dead man’s suit, because it smells bad. She says that when she woke up the suit was spread out on the bed next to her. Jude says that she needs to go back to bed, but when they reach the hallway outside the bedroom Jude again sees the ghost sitting in the Shaker chair and quickly looks away. As they walk down the hallway Georgia asks why Jude trashed his studio and Jude looks back at the old man; the ghost does not seem to hear Georgia and she does not see him.
