Summary

In Chapter 11, the next day, Samson convinces Beyah to go out into the ocean with him even though she claims she is afraid of jellyfish. They talk as they bob in the ocean. Samson assures Beyah that it has not been any easier for him to figure out than it has been for her to understand. They both agree that they like keeping their secrets. As they talk, it is hard for Beyah to grasp that Samson might be attracted to her as well. It makes her think about the first time she kissed Dakota, a thought that makes her move away from Samson.
