Chapter 15 Summary

One of the servants drives Susannah home. Susannah's mom accosts her at the front door trying to pry all of the details out of her. Susannah finds Max in front of her bedroom door, which has scratches all over it from him trying to get in and get to the cat. Doc opens his door across the hall and asks if she has a cat in there. Susannah admits she does. Doc said he knew because Max was trying to get in and that Max usually avoids the room and Susannah knows why. Susannah finds the bedroom window open and Spike gone. Father Dominic calls as Susannah is about to slip into a bath. He yells at her for not telling him about Jesse sooner.
