Chapter 9 Summary

Tad asks Susannah out for a coffee. When he drives her home, he kisses her. It's Susannah 's first kiss. Jesse greets Susannah as she's walking to the door and tells her she can't handle the situation alone. Susannah goes to Father Dominic the next day. When he hears Red's his nickname but he doesn't have red hair, that he's sensitive to light and he kept looking at Susannah 's neck, he says Red is a vampire.

Chapter 9 Analysis

Now that Father Dominic knows about Red, it foreshadows him helping Susannah solve the mystery of the dead woman. Susannah might even go undercover as Tad's girlfriend to gather more information.
