Chapter 6 Summary

Susannah gets Sleepy, her oldest stepbrother, to drive her to Red's mansion. She talks her way into the mansion and is escorted into the house by a servant. She is ushered into an elevator and deposited into Red's home office. She uses the guise that she is writing a story for the school newspaper on the top influential business people in Carmel, California.

Chapter 6 Analysis

Susannah believes she'll be able to deliver the message to Red and leave. It probably will be much more complicated than she thinks.
