Part 3, Delivery, Fall 1993, Chapter 37, Paige Summary

Paige has decided she must move out of the Prescott home. Paige is running away again. However, Robert tells her she must continue to fight for her family, telling her that she must not allow Nicholas to forget her. Paige decides not only will she stay, but she will go to work as a volunteer at the hospital in order to be around Nicholas as much as possible. Paige asks the volunteer coordinator to put her anywhere Nicholas might be, so Paige is assigned to the surgical floor and recovery.

Later that afternoon, Astrid finds Paige drawing in the backyard. Paige is a little depressed because her first day as a volunteer did not go as well as she had hoped. Nicholas laughed at her. Astrid watches Paige draw, telling her she had wanted an...
