Jake takes Paige to a friend of his, Eddie Savoy, who is a private detective. Jake and Eddie met during the Persian Gulf War, a fact that surprises Paige. Eddie tells Paige that anyone can be found. It is all in the numbers. Everyone has a driver's license and a social security card. If the missing person is not using their own name and numbers, they are using someone else's. Everyone can be traced through public records. Eddie tells Paige about a woman he once located. The woman's family had a history of diabetes. Once Eddie traced the woman to Maine, he found her in a hospital due to the fact that she was the same age as her family members when they succumbed to the disease.
