Part 1, Conception 1985-1993, Chapter 18, Paige Summary

Paige has been reading an article about post-partum depression and the fact that some women who suffer from this illness have been known to kill their babies. The article suggests that a new mother should write down all the things they can do well in order to fight the oppressive depression that sometimes comes with new motherhood. Paige writes out a list that revolves around her skills in dealing with Max, including the ability to dress him, to make his formula, and to change his diaper.
