Chapters 11 through 15 Summary

Abbey attends Aaron's funeral and is later checking in on Mary Allen. She finds a woman praying loudly by Mary's bed, and Abbey asks to interrupt in order to check on Mary. The woman is confrontational, but Abbey orders her out in order to conduct her examination. Abbey is then paged and is told that there's a police officer waiting for her. She finds Katzka waiting to talk to her. He questions her about the conversation she had with Aaron prior to Aaron's death. Abbey says that her conversation with Aaron had been all about her patient, but admits that Aaron hadn't been happy to find that Abbey was the resident on duty. She tells Katzka that she and Victor have had words. Katzka knows Victor is the head of an international company. They part and Abbey is served with yet...
