Chapter Nine, A Place to Hide Summary

Upon hearing the news that the ministry has fallen, the crowd at the wedding panics. Everyone is looking for loved ones and most are disapperating. The protective barriers that were placed around the Burrow for Harry's protection have broken. Death Eaters are everywhere. Ron, Harry, and Hermione find each and apperate into a busy Muggle street. Ron and Hermione are happily surprised to find that Hermione has packed early just in case. She used a spell to make an "Undetectable Extension Charm" to attach to her purse and has packed an amazing amount of stuff in what looks like a very small handbag. They find a dark alley and change out of their wedding clothes under the protection of Harry's invisibility cloak.
