Summary
“Act One, Scene One” is set at “King's Cross,” a busy train station. People are rushing around as James and Albus Potter push their trolleys toward a spot between two platforms where the boys will board a magical train. As they walk, Albus asks his mother, Ginny, if she will remember to write to him. She promises. Harry Potter is also with the group, with his daughter Lily on his shoulders. Harry reminds them that they cannot hesitate once they reach the barrier between platforms, and the family runs toward the spot together.
