Summary

Chapter 10 focuses on Kate and Teal. They had originally become friends in college. Teal later became an accountant at an accounting firm. After learning that her boss made large donations to fascist organization, Teal began to embezzle money from the company and give it to better causes. She was eventually caught and arrested, and she served a few years in jail. After her release, she joined Kate as a follower of Hark. Hark had almost no followers when they joined him. Teal now works at a bakery and is studying to become a social worker. In Chapter 11, Hark dreams about a talking catfish. The fish recounts the ancient Greek tale of Odysseus reclaiming his bow and his household after returning home from war.
