Summary
In “Chapter 20: Not Quite Real Life,” Harriet and her friends continue riding the Ferris wheel and then head back to the house and jump in the pool. Harriet kisses Wyn in the pool. They go back to their room and continue to kiss. However, when Wyn asks Harriet what it means, she says she does not know, so he stops kissing her and says it is a bad idea. Then he leaves the room for a walk and does not return.
In “Chapter 21: Happy Place,” Harriet and Wyn move into their first apartment in New York after Cleo left for a farm in Belize. Harriet does not think she could get any happier, but then Wyn proposes to her, and she says yes.
