Summary
In “Chapter Seven: Happy Place,” Harriet and Wyn get back to the vacation house after first meeting one another. They share the kid’s room, which has two twin beds. Harriet and Wyn get to know one another and share stories about their families late at night when the rest of their friends are sleeping. Harriet admits that she is terrified of relationships because her parents were not in love even though they stayed married to one another. They only ever seemed happy when Harriet was achieving something, so she decided to become a brain surgeon since it was the most impressive thing she could think to be.
