The Paris Apartment

Vincent’s Apartment in Paris is the most important setting in the book and where most of the novel revolves around. Owned by her parents, it is a getaway for Vincent after Cillian’s betrayal, and gives her the freedom she needs to process her feelings and discover what kind of woman she wants to be. It is here that she spends a night getting to know Loup and where she falls in love with him during a dinner party she hosts. This is also where Vincent runs her online jewelry store, allowing her to make money independently of her husband.
