III Berlin 1939 III Summary
Sid wakes up in the car, which is bouncing over the roads to Hamburg before they leave for Paris. Hiero bangs his fists n the back of Ernst's seat, yelling that he left his horn at the Hound. They are pulled over by two Boots, but Ernst talks to them and then they continue on their journey.
Ernst drives them to the mansion where he grew up. The butler and then Ernst's mother and sister, who is in a wheelchair after contracting polio at the age of four, greet them. The next morning, everyone wakes up to a new suit and even the car has been washed and shined up in preparation for their journey.
