III Berlin 1939 II Pages 72-88 Summary
The band members are at the Hound. Fritz is pulling the shards of glass out of Chip. They're talking about having to stay inside to see how bad the backlash is going to be from them attacking the three Boots. Fritz says he has a bad feeling and he thinks Delilah showing up and them being attacked in the same night is not a coincidence.
Delilah wakes the boys up in the next morning, looking for Ernst at the Hound. She says she ran into Fritz and he told her what happened. Delilah and Paul banter back and forth with each other, while Paul scours the newspaper for a story about the incident the previous night. Ernst comes out of his office when someone starts knocking on the front door and calling out for them...
