Summary
In Chapter 14, Tomás continues to recall his past as he and the Colonel’s ghost continue to tour Buenos Aires. Tomás specifically thinks about the methods that the interrogators would us to kill prisoners and dispose of their bodies.
In Chapter 15, Tomás’ recollections continue. After the priest’s death, Tomás became worried that the interrogators would suspect his involvement, but no one did. The priest had many enemies, and none of the interrogators even suspected of Tomás of being secretly allied with the Montoneros. Tomás soon learned that Isabel, Gustavo, and Nerea were all involved in the killing, to varying degrees, and that all three of them went into hiding to avoid retaliation following the killing of the priest.
