Summary

In Chapter 44, Gwendy and the rest of the crew are on a conference call with Charlotte as Gwendy tells them about the button box. Gwendy had first asked Adesh how he knew to set a trap for Winston. Adesh was embarrassed, but admitted he heard a voice in his head telling him what needed to be done.

In Chapter 45, Charlotte confirms that she has witnessed what Gwendy is telling the crew about the box when one of the men says he does not believe Gwendy. She also tells them she is certain that Winston, a hard-headed businessman, would not have died for a fantasy. Adesh reasons that it does not matter if the box is as powerful as Gwendy says it is. If they send it away on the Pocket Rocket it will be gone either way.
