Summary

In Chapter 22, Gwendy is thrilled after the video conference. The chocolate heightened her mental acuity to the point that she remembered everything she needed to remember.

When Gwendy checks her email later, she discovers she has a message from Norris. Norris tells her that he has been doing some research of his own about Ryan’s death. He met a gas station attendant who remembered seeing Ryan the day he was killed. Ryan had asked for directions to Bassey Park, where he was supposed to meet a man. When Ryan left, he noticed an old Chrysler, an ugly color green, following Ryan. Norris promises to keep digging, but does not think there is anything else to learn.
