Page 50-101 Summary

Captain Vimes and Corperal Colon start out to go find Carrot and Nobbs to ensure that Carrot knows he can't go around arresting people even if they have committed crimes. Nobbs has taken Carrot to a tavern, and when they enter Carrot begins reciting laws that forbid the selling of alcohol after midnight and many other things to the person that is in charge. He then tries to arrest the bartender. A fight ensues but Vimes, Colon and Nobb remain outside waiting to see if Carrot lives or not but not wishing to join the fight. When the fight is over they step inside the tavern to find that Carrot is the only one left standing. They take him out of the tavern before the others begin to wake up knowing they can't jail all of the people there even if...
