Enchanted Jones

Enchanted Jones is a 17-year-old Black girl who dreams of being a famous singer. She lives with her parents and younger siblings, often helping out around the house for her parents who both work. Her best friend at school is the person she tells everything to, and she often feels isolated or “othered” by some of her peers for her race.

When she attends an audition, she catches the attention of the legendary R&B artist, Korey Fields. When Korey offers to give her private singing lessons, she is elated. Their behavior soon turns inappropriate when the much older Korey begins sending suggestive text messages and pressuring Enchanted to begin a relationship with him.
