Summary

At the Will and Willow teen party, Enchanted watches her sister receive all of the attention from the boys. Creighton asks her to dance, but she does not want him to touch her. He follows her out and assaults her. Enchanted scares him away and calls Korey. He sends his bodyguard to pick her up.

In Chapter 16, the novel flashes back to the crime scene. Somebody has called 911 to report a man screaming.

In Chapter 17, the novel is again back in time before the crime. Enchanted meets Korey in his hotel room and he gives her alcohol. They sing together, and he tells her that she needs to start recording in his studio.

In Chapter 18, Enchanted goes for a studio session with Korey. Her parents insist on going with her and waiting in the car. Korey tells Enchanted that she cannot tell anyone...
