Summary
Part four is named “North/Blue” in the Cherokee syllabary. It is now Hawkeye’s turn to tell the creation story.
As Hawkeye tells it, Old Woman is walking around hungry until she finds a Tender Root to eat. She digs a deep hole and falls out of the sky into the water. She sees a young man walking on water, named Young Man Walking On Water. He sees a fishing boat in distress nearby and has several rules that Old Woman must follow. Old Woman sees how Young Man Walking On Water yells at the boat and ocean and takes over and sings to the boat and ocean and successfully saves the men on the boat.
