Chapter 1-4 Summary

Grave Peril by Jim Butcher is a story about Harry Dresden, a wizard in Chicago. The city is being tormented by ghosts and a mysterious nightmare. Harry will have to use everything he has in order to stop the evil forces at work and get himself, and those he cares about, out alive.

Chapter one begins with Harry Dresden, a wizard, driving toward Cook County Hospital. Michael Carpenter, a Knight of the Cross, is with Harry. They are going to the hospital to stop a ghost that Harry was told would be attacking the hospital. The two of them drive very fast on the way to the hospital and Harry sees a cop pull behind him and turn on his blue lights.
