Amy is pushing Nick's hot buttons. She is also pointing out all of the ways that she has a hold of him to do exactly what she wants him to do. She wants them to return to the way that they were when they were first married. The problem is that Nick sees Amy now for what she truly is, so he's having a hard time pretending to love someone he hates, and that scares him.
