Summary

Chapter 25 is titled “Twice Cursed.” Cin has a confrontation with Richard near the car. Denna, who was covered with a blanket because she is sensitive to the sunlight, has to run from Richard. Cin bites Richard, giving the others a chance to make it back to the car. Cin has a brief encounter with Shipley and senses that he regrets their current levels of animosity.
