Summary

Chapter 22 is titled “When the Sun Shines on Your Ass.” Cin finds Soleil crying on a grave covered with fresh dirt. This is a man who was important to Soleil who died trying to protect her. Cin realizes this is probably not going to save her from dying in three days, but she realizes she can hurt Havoc and Han by helping Soleil. She would like to go home, but she would also like to get revenge against Havoc and Han. Soleil takes the journal from Cin's mouth. She invites Cin and Bebe home with her. Soleil does not seem able to hear their thoughts as Havoc did. Cin is surprised that Soleil has an apartment on the top floor with only one lock – a terrible defensive situation.
