Summary

Chapter 13 is titled “All Witches are Bitches.” Cin is still feeling the effects of her injury. Georgia gives her some hot dogs, saying she will need a lot of protein in the future. The next morning, Georgia says the potion is ready, but they must come to an agreement on the trade. Georgia says Cin will have to give up her voice. Georgia does not dismiss the possibility that Cin will someday get her voice back. Cin is annoyed but agrees. Georgia presents a contract and says that Cin can either sign with a nose print or paw print. Cin makes the mistake of putting her nose in the ink. Georgia wipes Cin's nose. When she places her paw on the contract, “the print flared gold” (122). Once Cin drinks the potion, she will change back to her human form each night at sunset...
