Summary
Chapter 8 takes place a few years later, when Peter and Paul are nine years old. Peter and Paul take an assessment to transfer to a different Catholic school, St. Saviour's, which is known to be a fairly high-quality school. Peter does extremely well and is granted admission immediately. In fact, Peter receives the best score in the country. However Paul does not do well and is denied admission. Joy is adamant that the twins must attend the same school so that they can look out for each other. Clyde says that he will talk to the St. Saviour's principal to ask if Paul can be allowed to attend as well.
