Chapters 70 - 74 Summary

Terry goes with Stander in the ambulance and Dan calls Joy to sit with her. Terry realizes that the proof she needs is in her husband's safe and heads home. She opens the safe and finds the documents just as Manfred comes up behind her. He calls her names and demands the file, but she runs and he gives chase, hitting her and threatening to kill her. She gets outside, and races across the lawn. Manfred tries to run her down, laughing like a crazy man. Catching her by the pool, he gets out and pushes her under, trying to drown her. When Dan hears that Terry left, he and Joy follow to ensure she is alright, arriving at the Steyner residence in time to see Manfred holding her underwater.
