Chapter 3 Summary

As they drive to the police station, Tiffany and Meg make conversation with the cop. When they arrive, Tiffany's parents are already there to pick her up. Brian's dad comes to get him. Eric's father comes in blaming everyone, including Meg. The older cop, which is the one that transported the boys to the station, says he knows Meg's father from playing ball in high school. When they ask Meg if she wants to call her parent again, she tells them they're not coming because this is the last straw. Her cop leads her to a cell and locks her in. Meg passes out.

She wakes up to Lois waving ammonia under her nose and handing her a Sprite. Lois argues with the cop until he agrees not to put Meg back in the cell. After the cop leaves, Lois tells Meg that...
