Summary

Rory arrives at Granny’s house to find it heavily vandalized by revenue agents in an act of anger and revenge. Granny and Eli are there and are unharmed. Rory tells Eli that he wants to enter a race at the speedway in order to confront Cooley directly. Rory drives to the asylum in Raleigh to check on Bonni and to bribe the staff so that Bonni is protected. When Rory tells Bonni that he is going to kill the person who killed Connor, Bonni appears to have a panic attack. Rory goes to Christine’s house in an attempt to speak with her, but he changes his mind and leaves. In Chapter 26, Rory arrives at the speedway to enter a race.
