Summary

Part Four: "A Journey of a Thousand Miles" opens with Chapter 59: "Special Requests" as Jamie gives Ian money for the journey. Jamie asks that Ian check on Silvia Hardman and any men that may be hurting her after her husband's death. Claire helps Ian pack supplies and realizes they will not see Oggy start walking. Then, Claire asks him to visit a brothel in Philadelphia.

Chapter 60: "Just One Step" starts on September 15th, 1779 as Rachel looks at her home and reminisces. Jenny promises to protect Rachel. She is happy to hear Jaime will join the first part of her trip. Rachel asks others to pray for Denzel. Then, Jamie tells her about Catholicism and a process called Adoration. After he survived a hit with an ax, he never heard that soothing music again.
