Summary

Chapter 51: "Wheels Within Wheels" begins as Bree’s heartbeat quickens while trying to fix the wheel of their wagon. When it stops, Roger incorrectly guesses she is pregnant and Bree breaks down. She tells him about her heart and how a pregnancy could make it better or worse. Bree worries she passed her illness to Mandy as they time traveled while Bree was pregnant. Roger swears he will never risk her life, calling her his joy. They fix the wagon wheel and continue on, discussing how Bree plans to repaint Jane and wonders how William is doing without her.
