Summary

Chapter Six: "Home is the Hunter," Home from the Hill continues as Jamie and Bree return and Claire looks over his leg. Jamie mentions Bree's brother, William, though his and Jamie's relationship is strained. Claire and Jamie discuss the family's health and Clave's healing experience. They hear Oggy crying before the children, Bree, and Roger return. Ian and his family arrive.

Later, Jamie watches Bree prepare the deer and he wonders what life she could have now. He also feels a warm happiness watching his grandchildren. Then, he offers a player for Fanny's mother, Jane, who was declared damned after she committed suicide. Jamie also recalls a terrible but important memory with William.
