Summary

Chapter 25 begins with Harrick hiding the Notch, as well as the children and adult newbloods who stay behind as the rest leave for Corros. Mare, Cal, Kilorn, Nix, Nanny, Farley, Crance, and the other newbloods wear flight suits as uniforms and prepare their weapons on the Blackrun as they fly. Cal reminds Mare that they have the advantage as Nanny transforms into Maven. Cal tells the Corros flight command that they are Fleet Prime, Maven’s personal flight team, and that they are preparing to land. Mare prepares Nanny, giving her advice on how to act convincingly as Maven. They land at Corros and the newbloods put on flight helmets to obscure their faces.
