Interconnectedness of Lives
As Kit comes face-to-face with Diane after years of separation, she is able to look back with the benefit of time and more information, and see how her actions impacted those of Diane. When Diane shared with Kit when they were in high school that she had killed her father, Kit was shocked and separated herself from her friend. Years later, Kit worries when Diane comes to work at Severin Lab, the same lab where Kit has worked for years, that Diane will jeopardize the spot on a research team to study PMDD that Kit believed was hers.
